Get the most out of your membership by using the SABMAS website and our Customer Care Centre. We’ve given you the power to engage with us and your benefit option whenever it’s convenient for you.
Your SABMAS member information is always readily available when you log in to www.sabmas.co.za. You can still call us on 0860 002 133 or send general membership questions to email@example.com
If you haven’t yet done so, you can register on our website by following these easy steps:
- Go to www.sabmas.co.za
- Click on REGISTER on the top right of the screen.
- Select your identification type from the dropdown menu. You can choose either ID number or Passport number.
- Choose whether you would like to receive your temporary registration pin by SMS or email.
- Once you have received and entered your temporary pin, click Continue.
- Choose a username.
- Create a password and click on Register now.

Submit claims and view your process claims
You don’t have to submit your claims by hand or through the post. You can upload your claims using the website. You can also find and view all your processed claims by using the claims search tool and view your latest claims statements.
Find a network healthcare provider near you
You can use our Medical and Provider Search (MaPS) tool to find a healthcare professional in our network to avoid having to pay part of the cost yourself (co-payment).
Request important documents
You can request important documents such as your membership certificate through the website. We will then e-mail the documents to you. If you need a copy of your tax certificate, call the Customer Care Centre on 0860 002 133.
Keeping track of your benefits
You can keep track of all your available benefits online. If your benefit option has a Medical Savings Account (MSA), you can see how much you have spent and how much is left of your MSA. You can also view your registered chronic conditions
Manage your details
You can update your personal details such as contact number, postal and email address on the website if these have changed – in this way you can be sure that you will always receive SABMAS correspondence. You can also choose how you would like to receive information such as via sms or email for certain member communications.
